Chia seed pudding can be served as a dessert as well as a nutritious breakfast cereal. It is packed with two super foods chia and hemp seeds providing ample plant based proteins, fiber and Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids .
2 tablespoon chia seeds
½ tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon raisins or dried cranberries
½ tablespoon thinly sliced almonds or any other dry fruit of choice
½ cups almond milk or any other milk of choice
½ tablespoon of maple syrup/honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Add all ingredients in a bowl and stir well to mix everything evenly. Refrigerate for 15 minutes for the chia seeds to soak up the moisture. Add more milk and mix well if it is too thick. You can add chopped fruits or dry fruits just before serving. Serve chilled.
Note: If not mixed thoroughly chia seed will form a clump so mix well. You can add chocolate chips, cocoa powder, cinnamon or any other topping of choice.
