Autism Awareness in Bay Area Schools Program
Autism Bay Area magazine raises awareness about autism through the Autism Awareness in Bay Area Schools program.
High school students learn about autism and make presentations to children in elementary and middle schools. The presentations teach children in regular classrooms about autism, how ASD children behave and communicate, and how they can be supported. These talks promote understanding and acceptance of ASD children at an early age, so that we create a more supportive community for our children to thrive in.
